THUMBS UP 👍 OR THUMBS DOWN 👎

Luke 12:42-48;

42 “And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his Lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

43 Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My Lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

46 The Lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

47 And that servant, which knew his Lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.”

Thumbs up or thumbs down?

Beloved, which one do you prefer?

How happy we will be if the LORD gives us thumbs up 👍

So many activities are done in the lives of Christians in a day. At the end of the day, we should mark ourselves as well as judge for ourselves, if we will receive thumbs 👍 up from the LORD, who will give rewards to every work done in our bodies, whether good or bad.

There are some who throughout the day will busy themselves meddling into people’s affairs, gossiping, backstabbing, backbiting and causing trouble for others and bringing harm to their own souls.

As we are waiting for the imminent return of our SAVIOUR, what are we doing in our waiting period?

There will be faithful servants who will be found on the right path when the LORD returns. Will you be among those who will be counted worthy or you will be on the other side?

Beloved, time is running out and waits for no man. Wisdom is profitable to direct. Make every little time profitable. Live right, walk upright and expect to receive “Well done, good and faithful servant” from the LORD than to be told, “Depart from me, ye workers of iniquity.”

Do not wait to be caught unaware on the day our Master returns. Let us always put oil in our lamps and keep it burning🔥.

For on a day that we do not expect, our SAVIOUR will return.

1 Thessalonians 5:3 KJV says,

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

May the LORD have mercy on us all.
